In the morning of October 25, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Quang Thich received and worked with the survey delegation of Operation Pacific Angel (PACANGEL) from United State’s Embassy in Vietnam.

Operation Pacific Angel is a joint and combined humanitarian assistance exercise led by the US Pacific Air Forces.

Participants of PACANGEL 2015 will be nearly 100 US military members, 02 non-governmental organizations (East Meets West and Project Hope) and Quang Ngai military forces and volunteers.

The three key programs of PACANGEL are Health Services, Civil Construction and Health Matter Expert Exchanges.

For the Health Services Program, medical professionals from the Air Force will set up temporary clinics to provide optometry, dental, women’s health, physical therapy and other health services for local patients.

Civil Construction Program will provide repairing and renovation for two primary schools and three commune medical clinics with structural, roofing, electrical and painting repairs.

As scheduled, the Operation Pacific Angle 2015 will be held in Quang Ngai province in March 2015.

This is the fifth time of PACANGEL in Vietnam including Quang Tri Province in September 2009, Can Tho Province in May 2010, Nghe An Province in June 2012, and Quang Binh province in June 2013.

Speaking at the receiving, Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich expressed his thanks and highly valued the presented survey results.

Quang Ngai province will provide the best conditions for the organizer during the implementation of the program, Thich affirmed.
