| Tuan Chau Group, in association with the Him Lam Joint Stock Company, has held a ground-breaking ceremony for Tuan Chau – Ha Long golf course in Tuan Chau International Tourism Area in the northern province of Quang Ninh. The 27-hole golf course is designed with a tramcar road system, small bridges, a fairway irrigation system, electricity supply, sand bunkers, green trees and flower gardens. The project will be completed within 36 months with a total capital of VND1.5 trillion. It will be divided into two phases. The first phase (12 months) will see site levelingand filling and construction of the clubhouse and a nine-hole golf course. The second phase (the following 24 months) will see the remaining 18 holes of the golf course and other functional areas will be built. This will be the unique golf course in Vietnam located beside the Ha Long bay world natural heritage site. The project is among golf courses in Vietnam with planning approved by the Government until 2020 under decision 1946/QD-TTg on November 26, 2011./. |
