Tuan gave a fantastic performance in the men’s 56kg weight category, claiming three gold medals in the snatch (133kg), clean and jerk (160kg) and total lift (293kg), and breaking two world junior records in the snatch and total lift.

Tuan is scheduled to return home on August 12 to make last-minute preparations for the 17th Asiad, in which he remains among Vietnam’s biggest hopes for gold medals.
