A working delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) led by PPC Chairman Nguyen Manh Hien on November 2 to 3 visited and presented gifts to Ha Giang province. Mr. Dam Van Bong, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, PPC Chairman, welcomed the delegation.
On behalf of the Party organization, government and people of Hai Duong province, PPC Chairman Nguyen Manh Hien shared the difficulties of Ha Giang province, especially infrastructure limitations, craggy and difficult terrain, small economic scale, high poverty rate, etc. Ha Giang province currently has 10 districts and a city, of which six districts remain very disadvantaged.
On this occasion, Hai Duong province donated VND50 million to Ha Giang province’s “For the poor” Fund and five boxes of clothing to the people of Yen Minh and Dong Van districts.
PPC Chairman Nguyen Manh Hien visited Binh Minh No.3 Agro-forestry Development and Trade JSC. in Quyet Tien commune, Quang Ba district. This is where nearly 100 species of precious medicinal herbal materials are being propagated and conserved to serve the execution of the policy of developing a medicinal material region in association with hunger eradication and poverty reduction in Ha Giang.
The delegation also presented 10 national flags, each of which measured 54m2, to Lung Cu border post.
On November 3 afternoon and November 4, the Hai Duong PPC’s delegation will work with the Tuyen Quang PPC on rural and mountainous traffic construction.
