PANO – Telecommunications University on December 15th kicked off a book week, “Forever shining virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, as part of the activities to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 25th anniversary of whole people’s defence day.

On display are 100 book titles and 50 magazines and newspapers with different themes, “The VPA’s establishment and its participation in the August Revolution”, “The VPA in the resistance war against the French colonialists (1945-1954),” “The VPA in the anti-American war for national salvation (1954-1975)”, “The VPA in the national construction and defence cause (1975-2014)”, “President Ho Chi Minh with the Vietnam people’s armed forces.”
Besides, the eight-day event introduces documentaries and works on the heroic Vietnam People’s Army.
