PANO – Highly appreciating the information and communications sector in the national achievements over the past year, contributing to national socio-economic stability, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam asked the sector to promote popularization in 2015, a very important year with a number of big events.
The request was made at the conference reviewing the implementation of missions in 2014 and mapping out missions for 2015 organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) on December 25th in Hanoi.
Dam emphasized that the sector achieved all targets set for 2014 and the year saw renovation in management and production. He laid stress on MIC’s decisions and policy-making plans.
He also praised the post for its positive changes and affirmed its leading in the renewal process. He highly spoke of the sector’s plan for the IT outsourcing as a global trend.
He asked the sector to heighten their renovation responsibility to make further contribution to national development. He reminded the post and telecommunications to invest more in remote and mountainous areas.
Regarding the press, he asked them to provide readers with accurate information, not misinformation.
MIC’s minister Nguyen Bac Son thanked Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam for his direction and evaluation for the sector’s orientations in 2015.
