 Photo for illustration (Source: baophapluat.vn) In order to ensure a clean environment to welcome New Year 2015, Hanoi urban environmental hygiene joint stock company has mobilized 1,000 staff and people to clear environment in the city, especially from December 29th, 2014 – January 2nd, 2015. The company said that during the New Year holidays, it still concentrates on cleaning, transporting and treating all volume of daily arising and backlog garbage, waste soil in residential areas; ensure well operation and implementation of daily waste treatment processes at the Nam Son Waste Treatment Complex; prepare forces and means to overcome unsanitary environmental problems when being required by the city. The company has also asked their staff to ensure sanitation during waste transport. On average, Hanoi has about 60 tons of garbage, 40 cubic meters of waste soil and building materials per day collected and transported to stipulated places./. |
