Earlier, the district’s authority had uploaded historical and legal references on the national sovereignty over Hoang Sa islands and also gradually updated news on the East Sea. These documents serve as the bridge to connect local authorities with visitors and enhance the communication work. A month after being kick-started, over 87,000 entries were sent to the local portal.

In addition, the local authorities also collaborated with relevant agencies to hold various activities such as the competition to select the architecture model for the Hoang Sa Museum, the seminar entitled “Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa Islands”, and the exhibition themed “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands belong to Vietnam.”

Addressing the meeting, the Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee strongly reaffirmed the Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa Islands and called on all fishermen as well as forces to firmly protect the national sovereignty over the seas and islands.
