The debit balance of credit institutions in Hai Duong province has been estimated to reach about VND39,106 billion near the end of February 2015, up 0.3% over January and 0.5% over the end of 2014.
Though the fields of agriculture and rural development, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and export saw a decline in outstanding loans, those in the support industry increased by nearly 2%, resulting in a slight rise in total debit balance in February.
Thus, the debit balance in the first two months of a year has grown positively for the first time after many years, which is a sign of economic recovery.
In the time to come, the credit institutions will concentrate on capital raising and reasonable and efficient credit expansion; balance capital; and focus on giving priority to financing agricultural and rural development, export, small- and medium-sized enterprises, support and hi-tech industries, etc. to bring capital onto the market and promote credit growth as planned.
