Ho Chi Minh City leader meets with foreign organizations

PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on February 10th held a get-together for nearly 200 representatives from consulates; economic, cultural and trade offices; international and non-governmental organizations; and businesses in the city on the upcoming (Tet) Lunar New Year.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan briefed delegates on the city’s socio-economic achievements in 2014 and its development project for 2015, and extended his best wishes to the participants on Tet holidays.


On behalf of the guests, Australian Consul-General John James McAnulty held that the city is at the top of the country’s cities and provinces in attracting foreign investments, thanks to its open policies and good infrastructure.
