Viettel’s financing will benefit nearly 500 households as they will have new homes worth VND60 million each, and 1,000 cows along with stables in the first stage.
The firm will rebuild a clinic in Ba Thuoc and another in DakRong, and install a wireless broadcasting system for all communes and villages in those districts in the second stage.
Hoang Cong Vinh, deputy general director of Viettel, said the company would spend 80% of the money on healthcare and education and use the rest for development of information and communication technology there.
In the first stage of the project, Viettel provided the three districts with a combined VND89 billion.
