Scene of the get-together
On March 10, Ba To district held the get together with Ba To guerilla unit’s members, key leaders of the province and districts over the periods.
Attending the meeting were representatives of the Central Office of the Propaganda Board, Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Da Nang City, former members of the Ba To guerilla unit, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee Dang Thi Le Thu, former provincial leaders over the periods, departments and agencies of the province.
At the get-together, Secretary of Ba To district’s Party Committee Pham Viet Nho reported the socio-economic development situation of the district over the past 70 years, especially after 42 years of the liberation (30 October 1972).
Colonel Tran Xi Noa – Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command reviewed the struggle tradition of army and people of Ba To district during the two wars against colonialism and imperialism.
Participants reviewed the historical revolutionary
Participants at the meeting also recalled the memories of the Ba To revolution, glorious feat of arms and people of the district during the war as well as the historical meanings of the revolution.
By the occasion, Ba To district offered gifts to Ba To guerilla unit’s members worth over VND 2.5 each.
