The Monitoring group of the Provincial MPs delegation led by Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Chief in charge of the Provincial MPs delegation has just worked with the People’s Committee of Tay Hoa district on implementing the concreted roads in rural areas in the 2013- 2015 period.
According to the People’s Committee in Tay Hoa district, initially, the district planned to concrete nearly 163km in the 2013-2015 period, with 120 km of concreted road in the 2013-2014 period. However, when deployed, in 2013 and 2014, communes in the district registered to have nearly 298km of road concreted. Despite difficulties, more than 244km of rural roads has been concreted so far. The routes were properly built as designed, meeting the criteria of rural transportation on the approved schedule, the pavement width is from 2.5m to 4m. The total cost of the project was more than VND 130 billion, with around VND 77 billion contributed by the district’s people in the district. Currently, some lines of more than 53km in length in the district were registered for concreting in 2014 but no cement is supported for deployment.
At the meeting, Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Chi appreciated the results of implementing the rural-transport-concrete projects in Tay Hoa district in the 2013-2015 period, which is a typical in the province on concreting rural transportation; also, recommending the People’s Committee of Tay Hoa district to continue to promote the achievements as well as trying to complete the registered concrete-roads in 2015. For the complete routes, the district has to plan for maintenance and efficient use.
