Dinh Tien Hoang is a high school offering education for students with difficulties in Hanoi. Minister Chritine Antorini chose the school for its famous model and pedagogical methods for disadvantaged students. Sharing opinions with the Danish education minister, Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam, Head of Dinh Tien Hoang School Council, confirmed that the school aims to support students in difficulties. This special education model is based on Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on education, which read “People become good or bad are not inborn character. It mostly depends on education” and “Everyone should have access to education.” Dr. Lam believed that those school students could thrive in life despite their disadvantages.

Minister Christine Antorini paid special attention to the five steps used by the school to help students make changes themselves. The steps include students’ rights to share and to defend themselves for what they have done and the solutions to the problems and how to avoid making the same mistakes again.

The Danish minister highly appreciated the model of the school, confirming that the methods practiced at the school have further motivated Vietnam-Denmark education cooperation in the coming time.
