The Central Youth Union (YU) on March 14 afternoon held the Festival “Giving strength to laborers and young workers” in Dai An industrial park (Hai Duong).
The Central and Provincial YUs awarded certificates of merit and 40 gifts to young workers making typical achievements in production and rising from difficult circumstances in life
In attendance were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Central YU, Mr. Nguyen Van Que, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and more than 1,000 young workers in Dai An industrial park.
At the festival, the Central and Provincial YUs awarded certificates of merit and 40 gifts to young workers making typical achievements in production and rising from difficult circumstances in life.
The Central YU’s Secretariat visited and presented some young workers in boarding houses and families of young workers in difficult circumstances with gifts.
The young workers also received free checkups, health counseling, haircuts, phone and computer repair, etc.
Also attending the festival were groups propagating revolutionary songs for the first time in 2015 under the theme “Proud of Vietnam”.
The Festival “Giving strength to laborers and young workers” was held to contribute to improving young workers’ cultural life and arousing their patriotism and national pride.
This was an activity to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 7th National Party Congress and concretize the theme “Proud to advance under the Party’s flag” in the 2015 work of the Central YU’s Executive Board.
* The Cam Giang District YU has organized the 2015 Festival of Revolutionary Song Propagating Groups and the Contest “When I was 18″ for the 2014 – 2015 school year. Participants were four groups from three senior high schools of Cam Giang, Cam Giang 2, and Tue Tinh and the District Center for Continuing Education – Vocational Guidance and Training.
Cam Giang Senior High School won the overall first prize while Cam Giang 2 Senior High School triumphed at the Festival of Revolutionary Song Propagating Groups.
On the occasion, the Cam Giang District YU also commended and rewarded 10 typical Secretaries of YU Branches in the bloc of senior high schools and centers for continuing education – vocational guidance and training.
