The ground breaking of Niwa Foundry Vietnam (100 percent Japanese-invested capital) took place on March 12 in Danang Hi-tech Park site (DHTP). The total investment capital of this project is US$30 million and the factory of project has been already erected at the 11-hectare lot. The project specializes in precision mechanics, manufacturing casting products and materials for hydraulic parts with the capacity of 4.8 million pieces per year. According to its plan, the factory will be completed and put into operation in 2016.
Making a speech at the opening of ceremony, Mr Tatsomi Niwa, President of Niwa Foundry (Japan) confirmed DHTP as well as Danang City will develop in the good way and become one of attractive destinations for foreign investors. That is also the reason the Niwa Foundry Company chose DHTP to promote their project in Vietnam. Mr Tatsomi also conveyed his thanks to the leaders of Danang government, of DHTP Management Board and relevant agencies for their intensive supports to promote his project in DHTP.
Regarding the project of Niwa Foundry in Vietnam, Mr Dai Niwa, General Director, who would be in charge of managing this project in Vietnam, expressed hope that the project would be smoothly implemented as planned and receive strong supports from relevant authorities.
As regard to DHTP Management Board, Mr Thai Ba Canh – Acting Director General stressed Niwa Foundry Vietnam is the second project investing in DHTP in the phase of technical infrastructure construction, so the project may face a few of problems. Nevertheless, Mr Canh affirmed the DHTP Management Board and local government would be always with the Company to give the best support in the project duration in order that the Company could feel assured to successfully operate in DHTP.
