PANO – Vietnam and the US will promote medical cooperation, including free surgeries for handicapped children, human resources training, baby first aid and hemodialysis.

This information was announced at a working session between Military Hospital 175 of the Ministry of National Defence and the Project Vietnam Foundation Non-governmental Organization of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Both sides applauded the outcome of their joint program to provide free surgeries for 63 children with facial deformities in South Vietnam at the hospital from March 8th to 12th.
The foundation also promised to increase humanitarian activities for Vietnam’s needy handicapped children in the area.
