The central province of Quang Ngai has been a hot destination for tourists
A report from Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee said in the first three months of the year, 168,000 tourists visited this central province.
The number of visitors increased 15% compared with that in the same period last year and completed 29% of the plan set forth for the year.
Of the total, the number of foreign tourists was over 9,000 people, a year-on-year increase of 11%.
Total revenue achieved over 110 billion dong, rising 11% year-on-year and fulfilling 23% the year’s targeted plan.
The island district of Ly Son welcomed the most visitors, especially on the International Women Day March 8 with a total of 2,500 tourists on the island.
