PANO – The annual golf tournament, “Swing for the Kids 2015″, organised by the Investment Newspaper and Foreign Investment Department of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, will take place at Kings’ Island Golf Resort in Hanoi on May 10th, said organizers at a press conference on April 10th in Hanoi.

144 golfers from diplomatic organs, international organizations and businesses will take part in the 9th charitable event.
Launched for the first time in 2007, the tournament has granted 11,000 scholarships to needy students with good academic records and assisted localities across the country in building and repairing schools. Besides, the Investment Newspaper has organised meaningful trips for ethnic minority students in the North to Hanoi, Uncle Ho’s house in Kim Lien village in Nghe An province’s Nam Dan district and Dong Loc T-Junction Historical Relic in Ha Tinh province.
On the occasion, the organizers presented gifts to Thao Seo Si from Thai Nguyen Agro-Forestry University and Le Van Tu from Hanoi Pedagogy University. These needy students have obtained remarkable academic records.
