Provincial Party Committee (PPC) term XVIII has held its 19th session to discuss the draft political report and to ratify the number of members to be present at the upcoming Congress of PPC term XIX.
The draft political report highlights important achievements over the period, such as gathering the enthusiasm participations of Quang Ngai residents into the development of economy and society; using effectively all resources for a fast and sustainable development in the province; improving society; managing natural resources and environment; and ensuring security and national defense.
It also shows results of two breakthrough missions of developing industry and urban and three key tasks of developing agriculture-rural, marine-island economy, and administrative reform.
The draft report’s contents were mostly agreed by delegates at the session.
However, some of them commented about its layouts and suggested that the report should assess the authenticity of agriculture, such as directing some key agricultural products, to build a model of high-tech agriculture, and to bring task of marine economic development to the next term.
Comments and ideas of delegates were highly appreciated by Deputy Secretary of PPC Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang, who chaired the session, adding that they would be added in to the report before being presented at the upcoming congress.
At the session, delegates also spent times on discussing as many as key important tasks in the next five years 2015-2020 and ratified a list of 350 members to take part in the upcoming congress of provincial party committee XIX.
