(VOV) -Nguyen Tien Long’s ’21st Century Ao Dai’ photo from Rennes won the first prize at the A Glimpse of Vietnam in France photo contest held recently by the Vietnamese Students Association (UEVF) chapter in northwestern France.
The second prize went to Nguyen Trung Nghia’s Spring Garden from Nantes while the third to Pham Phuong Thao’s Student’s Guitar from La Rochelle.
Spring Garden The consolation prize was awarded to Nguyen Duy Anh’s Vietnamese Girl from Rouen.
The event, the first of its kind for Vietnamese students in France, aims at strengthening solidarity and friendship among them and celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties and the two countries’ cultural exchange years (2013-2014).
It also provided a good playground for amateur photographers from 18 cities and provinces across France.
The winning photos will be on display at UEVF headquarters in Paris and in some cultural exhibitions in Vietnam.
