(VEN) – The sum was recommended in the draft for the national industrial program until 2020 prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
According to the draft, the central budget for industrial promotion activities managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade may come up to VND5 trillion while the central funds for constructing and equipping industrial promotion centers in localities in socioeconomic difficulties may be VND3.5 trillion.
The Ministry of Finance will be in charge of funding the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s national industrial promotion program from the central budget on annual basis while people’s committees at province, commune, and district levels will fund local industrial promotion programs from the locally assigned budget.
The national industrial promotion program aims to achieve the objectives of training 150,000 workers for rural industrial facilities, supporting 200 technical demonstration models, and supporting 2,500 participants in fairs and exhibitions at home and abroad by 2015.
It also aims to provide training for 300,000 workers; support mechanical application and technology transfer for 800 rural industrial establishments; support 400 technical demonstration models, and participate in detailed planning and construction of infrastructure and wastewater treatment systems for 125 industrial clusters across the country by 2020./.
