(VOV) – A variety of films featuring Vietnam’s sea and islands will be screened across the country from June 17-23.
- Making films with int’l experts in Hanoi
- European films premier in HCM City
- Hong Kong Film Week opens in HCM City
Among them are the documentary “Co To Island”, scientific films “Rivers Call for Help” (Nhung dong song keu cuu) and Sea Pollution (O nhiem bien), as well as the film “Warding off Misfortune” (Giai han).
Phi Tien Son’s new film ‘Indulge’ will also be shown during the week. ‘Indulge’ was previously screened at the Hanoi International Film Festival, the ASEAN International Film Festival in Kuching, Malaysia, and Francophone Film Week in Hanoi.
An exchange between the “Indulge” and “Co To Island” playwrights, directors and actors and officials and students at the Maritime University will also be held on June 18 in Haiphong.
The film week is part of the National Tourism Year 2013 in the Red River Delta.
