| To respond Sea Festival 2013, on the afternoon of 6th June 2013, it took place the exhibition on “Antiques of Southeast Asian countries and documentation of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Island through the old books” at the Khanh Hoa Museum. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Le Xuan Than – Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa province, representatives of departments and agencies with the majority of domestic people and visitors. |

| The exhibition Hoang Sa and Truong Sa displays approximately 150 documents, photographs. 50 important maps of them show Vietnam’s sovereignty over two islands including: Vietnamese map published by Vietnam from the fifteenth century – nineteenth has Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands. Vietnamese map, South East Asia and Asia published by the western countries in the sixteenth century – XX shows Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands belong to the territory of Vietnam; map of China published by China without Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands; In addition, 50 pictures of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands also to be on display for domestic people and visitors to explore. This thematic exhibition will last until the end of the Sea Festival (11th June). Along with the exhibition on documentation, photographs on Truong Sa and Hoang Sa Island, 150 artifacts representing many different materials of the 11 countries in Southeast Asia will be exhibited at the Khanh Hoa Museum. Antiques exhibition of Southeast Asian nations will last about 3 months. Besides 2 thematic exhibitions above, the exhibition also introducing to the people and foreign tourists 2 pairs of carton vases of the artist Han Quoc Dinh are “Ly Dynasty’s Dragon”‘(a record has been established Vietnam) and “Vietnamese dragon image”. The Khanh Hoa UNESCO Association also introduced to people the writings about Truong Sa and Hoang Sa Islands and homeland islands. MY HAU |
