Vietnam’s total bilateral trade with Brazil registered USD 654.6mn during the first four months of this year. According to Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, the country’s exports grew 48.5% y/y registering USD 349.5mn during the period.
The country’s exports to Brazil had a higher growth rate as compared to other Asian countries during the period. At present, the market share of the country’s exports is responsible for only 0.3% of import demand in Brazil.
