HA NOI (VNS)- The tropical low which formed in the East Sea yesterday has become a storm called Benbinca, according to the National Hydro-Meterology Forecasting Centre.
At 7am this morning, the storm was centered 400km east-by- northeast of the Paracel Islands and was moving west-by-northwest with winds of up to 74kph.
The northern region of the East Sea reported winds of 49-61kph with gusts of up to 117kph.
The storm is also causign rain, whirlwinds and rough seas in the coastal area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau provinces.—VNS
