30 billion VND generated from bonds

As much as 30 billion VND (1.4 million USD) was raised on July 16 as bidding took place on Government bonds at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
The total volume of Government bonds issued by the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) in the bidding amounted to 3.5 trillion VND (166.7 million USD). They included bonds of two, three and five-year terms.
The five-year bonds were sold at a coupon rate of 8.5 percent per year, the same as in the previous bidding on July 10.
Since the beginning of the year, VDB has collected nearly 23.4 trillion VND (1.1 billion USD) worth of Government bonds through biddings.
