The movie, directed by Robert Schwentke, is an action/comedy adapted from a comic book called Rest In Peace Department by Peter M. Lenkov.
The A-listers say it all about this popular adaptation with Oscar-winning Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart, Tron: Legacy, True Grit), Ryan Reynolds (Safe House, The Proposal), Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class) and popular U.S. supermodel Marisa Miller joining the cast.
It tells the story about a troupe of dead policemen gathering at a police station called R.I.P.D. in heaven. These talented people have a mission to catch evil souls who will damage living human beings. The main characters are old hand Roy Pulsifer (Bridges) who died 100 years before and Nick Walker (Reynolds) who has just passed away on police duty. Will Nick and Roy have answers for their deaths and be able to stop some horrible things happening to those in the land of the living?
With a whopping budget of US$130 million, R.I.P.D. promises to satisfy audiences with its array of modern weapons and action.
