(VOV) – China has so far invested in 925 projects capitalised at more than US$4.7 billion ranking it 13th among more than 100 foreign investors in Vietnam.

According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, many Chinese businesses regard Vietnam as a key destination for expanding their operations and investment, replete with opportunity.
At a recent seminar promoting cooperative opportunities between ASEAN-China and Vietnam, Chinese businesses expressed their hope that Vietnam will issue policies fostering an environment conducive to future investment.
As of June 2013, Vietnam has invested in 10 China-based projects with registered capital totalling US$13.2 million, focused mainly in production and services. Two-way trade value sharply increased from US$31 million in 1991 to US$11 billion in 2011, and is expected to rise further to US$60 billion by 2015.
