PANO – General Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of National Defence, met with 291 soldiers who have accomplished their national service at Brigade 144, under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Battalion 103, under the Hanoi Capital High Command, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence on July 21st.
At the meeting, General Thanh hailed the soldiers’ efforts and determination to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to building the national strong army.
The Defence Minister believed that after returning home, they would continue to bring into play the tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, support their families and community.
On this occasion, the general presented gifts to 10 outstanding soldiers born into needy families.
