Ex-Book-Change Day is part of the Reading Day project of Vong Tay Be Ban with the annual support of Thang Ba Thang Long Foundation to encourage a passion for reading among young people and to nurture the spirit of over 8,000 children in eight poor communes of Ba Vi District in Hanoi.
This year’s event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., features book-swapping, a roundtable on “Reading with your children” with the participation of seasonal speakers, parents and kids and a music show by student bands and dance crews to raise funds for the program “Sharing love with books.”
Furthermore, there are locations for people to contribute old books for libraries, calligraphy writing and drawing at the center at 1 Tang Bat Ho Street, Hai Ba Trung District. Benefactors who wish to donate books can contact the organizers by tomorrow.
