International tourist arrivals to Quang Binh Province increase nearly 53%

(TITC) - In the first 6 months 2013, Quang Binh Province has received 542,168 tourist arrivals, increasing by 4.4% over the same period of 2012; of which, international arrivals were 17,046, increasing by 52.6%. Total tourism receipts reached VND 455 billion, up 28% over the same period of 2012.


To gain this result, Quang Binh has increased promotion of cave tourism with famous sites in the area including: Phong Nha – Ke Bang Cave, Son Doong Cave… Especially Quang Binh has launched new tourist routes such as: Sinh Ton Valley – Thuy Cung Cave; Rao Thuong – En Cave, Chay River – Toi Cave, and organized various activities for Dong Hoi Culture Week 2013…


The result proves that Quang Binh Province boasts significant attractiveness to international tourists. Besides, accommodation establishments in Quang Binh also pay attention to infrastructure investment and services innovation, aiming to offer tourists better service quality.
