PANO – The Can Tho city People’s Committee has reviewed its achievements in implementing the military and national defence work in the first half of 2013 and worked out new tasks till the end of this year.
Over the past time, the Board for National Defence and Security Education of Can Tho city opened 65 training courses for more than 3,700 people. Besides, the city Military Command, along with the local police, conducted 16,039 patrols, discovering and busting 1,281 cases.
In the last half of this year, Can Tho city plans to continue promoting troops’ political stance and combat readiness to build a firm defensive area.
