The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will coordinate with the UK Embassy to organise a conference on “Trade promotion for stronger export of foods and drinks to UK in 2013″ from October 14 to 19, 2013. This is part of a series of activities in commemoration of the 40th founding anniversary of Vietnam – UK diplomatic relations.
The programme’s major contents are UK policies on Vietnam’s agricultural, forest and aquatic products and drinks in the UK; direct meetings with UK distributors, customers and other organisations that want to import of foods and beverages from Vietnam; visits to agricultural and aquatic product and drink distribution systems; and surveys on food and drink technologies.
In addition, companies can work with trade promotion agencies in Vietnam and the UK to have advice on doing business in the UK market; meet with successful Vietnamese companies in the UK; attend Brand License Europe Exhibition to meet and exchange on famous European brands to seek cooperation opportunities.
