(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Monday received Kazakhstan’s former war veteran Issa Bisanop, who is visiting Vietnam with his family. President Sang said he was glad to meet an international fighter who trained many Vietnamese air defence personnel. He reiterated that the Vietnamese Party and State never forgets such valuable assistance, and welcomé former war veteran and experts back to Vietnam. Bisanop expressed his elation to return Vietnam, where he lived when he was young and recalled his time working as a rocket expert in northern Vietnam during 1966 and 1967. He said Vietnam will forever be his second homeland.
