Around US$7 million will be needed to upgrade the My Dinh Sports Complex, said Can Van Nghia.
Nghia said that the money would be used to upgrade the sports facilities in the complex to accommodate from 10-14 sports such as cycling, football, track and field, swimming and indoor sports.
The My Dinh Sport Complex in Ha Noi will be the main venue for Asian Games 2019. The opening and closing ceremonies, as well as 40 per cent of the sporting events will be held at the complex.-VNS
