Up to the end of 27 August, the total outstanding debt of credit institutions (CI) reached around VND33 trillion, up 2.1% over the end of 2012.
This is the second consecutive month of positive growth of the outstanding balance after 6 consecutive months of negative growth compared to the end of 2012.
The credit structure also shifted to focusing on the fields of production and business, especially credits to agriculture, rural areas, small- and medium-sized enterprises, supportive industries, etc. pursuant to the Government’s guidelines and orientation.
The total mobilized capital of the province CIs reached about VND36 trillion, up 6.1%, in which the bloc of State-owned and partly State-owned CIs obtained a 3% increase, the bloc of non-State CIs a 13.7% increase.
Deposits of economic organizations and the treasury alone continued to decrease sharply compared to the end of 2012.
