An exhibition titled ‘Flowers and Life’ will open at the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi on August 30.
Flowers portray natural beauty connecting closely with women’s lives. Wedding flowers make brides more radiant, decorative flowers in family homes make life more charming. The beauty of the multicolor flowers and their perfume are anywhere. Flowers contribute charm and graceful beauty to our lives.
The exhibition will bring a fresh new color at the museum with special activities for the public, such as a display of the Ao Dai ( Vietnamese traditional long dress ) collection made of flowers, display of flowers and ornamental plants; performance of flower arranging art; and introduction of publications and magazines related to flower industry.
Flowers are arranged in various themes including flowers in interior decoration and flowers in wedding decoration. Visitors will feel that they are walking in beautiful natural scenery in Hanoi’s autumn season.
The display will run until National Day on September 2.
