PANO – 200 children in the SOS children’s village in Hanoi recently had a meaningful mid-autumn party with Korean food and moon cakes and art performances through the “K-art dream” program, jointly organised by the Cultural Centre of the Republic of Korea in Hanoi and Lotte E&C Construction Company.
Park Nark Jong, Director of the centre, said that mid-autumn festival is a very important event for Korean and Vietnamese children, so the centre would like to bring happiness to unlucky children in the village.
On the occasion, the Lotte E&C Construction Company repaired the electrical system and the playground in the village, so that children could enjoy a happy festival.
Launched last April, the second program of its kind by the Korean centre attracted the participation of 120 Korean culture lovers to bring happiness to unlucky children through Korean art performances.
