VGP – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, PM Nguyen Tan Dung and NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung have cabled messages of greetings to Chinese General Secretary cum President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang.
In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders congratulated Chinese people on their achievements made in the past 64 years, especially after 35 years of pursuing the open-door policy.
They also applauded progress in the two nations’ developments in recent times, confirming that Viet Nam’s Party, State and people treasure and are ready to enhance mutual understanding and trust further, promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership deeply and sustainably for the sake of the two sides’ people and for the regional and international peace, stability and development.
On the occasion, FM Pham Binh Minh telegraphed a congratulatory message to Chinese FM Wang Yi.
