VietNamNet Bridge – On the evening of September 2, tens of thousands of people flocked to downtown HCM City to admire the firework display to celebrate the National Day.
In celebration of the day, HCM City organized fireworks at Dam Sen and Caric shipyard (Thu Thiem, District 2), where people could see the show from the city center. The firework show started at 9pm, earlier than the other occasions.
At 9pm, the fireworks began with the applause of the people.
Many children enjoyed the show on their fathers' shoulders.
People stood on the grass along the Saigon River to watch the show.
Fireworks lit the sky of the Saigon River.
After 15 minutes of watching the fireworks, people returned to the street, making the traffic situation chaotic. Traffic police had to struggle to maintain the order. VNE/NLD
