(VEN) – Reed Tradex Company Executive Director Chainarong Limkittisin said that two robots would show at Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013, which is scheduled to take place from September 4-6 in Hanoi.
These are Honda’s worldwide famous humanoid robot ASIMO and Murata’s robot Murata Boy. The Murata Boy can balance and cycle using a Bluetooth module, a gyroscope sensor switch, an ultrasonic sensor and a shock sensor. The Murata Boy is a small-sized humanoid robot with two legs. Equipped with a wireless connection, the Murata Boy can be controlled via devices such as computers or smart phones executing remote commands like forward, stop and backward. The robot can reach a top speed of 30 inches per second, together with perfect balance ability even when stopped.
This will be the first time two robots will together show their excellent performance, for you to have an outlook for the future of artificial intelligence and robot design./.
