Vietnam-Japan concert to be held in Hanoi

Two performances of the “Vietnam Japan 40 Autumn Concert Tour” will take place at Hanoi Opera House, on September 14-15, celebrating 40 years of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

The Vietnamese and Japanese musicians are then scheduled to fly to Japan for performances in Yokohama on September 21st, Koriyama on September 22, Osaka on September 24, Takemitsu Memorial Hall on September 27, Kanematsu Kodo on September 29, and Nara’s Todaiji Daibutsuden on October 1.


In addition to the performance of renowned Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji and pianist Kodama Momo, the concerts will also feature the “Spider’s Thread” ballet composed by the late Yasushi Akutagawa.


Vietnamese cellist Ngo Hoang Quan, narrator Le Khanh, and French-Vietnamese composer Nguyen Thien Dao are additional highlights of the concert line-up, performing Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 5 and No. 7./.
