Vietnamese businessmen present gifts to policy beneficiaries

PANO – A delegation from the Vietnam Veterans-Businessmen’s Association (VVBA), led by its President, Labour Hero Le Van Kiem, recently inquired after and presented gifts to some policy beneficiaries in Dong Nai province, as part of activities celebrating Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day on October 13th.

Accordingly, each policy beneficiary received VND 10 million in cash and a gift worth VND 500.000.


On the occasion, the delegation visited heroic mother Nguyen Thi Gam, aged 92, in Phuoc Tan commune, Bien Hoa city, and 84-year-old veteran Mai Van Hoang, a victim of Agent Orange/dioxin with defective eyes and no arms, at Thong Nhat ward, Bien Hoa city. Hoang’s wife is blind and his child is affected by Agent Orange/dioxin.


In Hoang’s rented house, Labour Hero Le Van Kiem promised to build a gratitude house for this veteran.


On the trip, the delegation also visited VVBA’s affiliated businesses.
