PANO – The 22nd Bay Nui (Seven Mountains) bull-racing festival-An Giang Television Cup will be held on October 4th at the racetrack of Vinh Trung commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province.
According to organizing panel, 64 pairs of bulls from An Giang and nearby provinces will be matched at random and race for the knockout competition.
Initiated in 1992, the Bay Nui bull race is a traditional game in the culture of Khmer people in southern Vietnam, on celebration of the Sene Dolta Festival.
At present, the race is organized as a tournament for An Giang Television Cup as well.
