HCM CITY (VNS) — HCM City plans to pay tribute to late General Vo Nguyen Giap and the former Chairman of the Council of State of Viet Nam Vo Chi Cong by naming major streets after them.
The city’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Department and the Transport Department have co-ordinated to collect documents and plans for the proposal.
The capital city Ha Noi is also planning to name a street after General Giap. — VNS
