Gia Loc district has praised three agricultural service cooperatives and 19 individuals typically collecting and selling farmers’ agricultural produce.
Gia Loc district on 23 October praised three agricultural service cooperatives of Gia Khanh, Toan Thang, and Dong Quang and 19 individuals typically collecting and selling farmers’ agricultural produce.
Apart from agricultural service cooperatives involved in producing and underwriting agricultural produce, 152 households in Gia Loc district collect the produce for others to sell, 137 households collect and directly transport the produce by motorbike, and more than 50 households collect then convey the produce by car or refrigerator car to many markets in the northern, central, and southern regions for sale.
These households annually sell 100,000 – 130,000 tons of agricultural produce (accounting for 80% of the yield of agricultural produce in the district).
Some households with 15 – 25 years of experience in the collection and sale each year sell 5 – 15 thousand tons on average and achieve tens of billion dong of revenue, such as the households of Nguyen Van Long, Ho Van Huan, and Tang Xuan Truong in Gia Xuyen commune.
