Japan Information and Communication Technology Week 2013 (Japan ICT Week) opened in Hanoi with the participation of more than 100 Japanese and 200 Vietnamese enterprises on October 23.
According to a report of the Information-Technology Promotion Agency (IPA), Vietnam surpassed India to become the second partner of Japan with 23 percent of foreign order forms in 2012.
In particular, Vietnam has been considered the most favorite partner for Japanese enterprises with 31.5 percent of votes from Japanese enterprises, while India received 20.6 percent of votes and China received 16.7 percent votes.
Despite the language barrier, a majority of Japanese businesses have been able to develop excellent human resources.
The first Japan ICT Day was held in 2007. This year the event is being expanded to Japan ICT Week, to receive more IT companies of the two countries.
