Project Runway Vietnam winner joins Paris bash

Ha unveiled around 30 creations in 3D form with main materials of organza and veil in black at the Marriott Paris Champs Elysees. He joined another ten designers from the U.S., Germany, Peru and Sweden at the show created by American born and Paris based designer

Tiffany McCall who aimed to open a venue for new fashion talents from around the world.


Apart from the main show last week, Ha and other participants attended a press conference with local media and photo shoots at popular venues like the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum.


“To be chosen for the event is such an honor for a young designer like me. The ‘Black Rose’ collection has received great encouragement from Vietnamese so I do hope I can convince Parisians,” said Ha, in a statement.


First runner-up of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012 Kha My Van also paraded Ha’s collection at the event.


Ha, 28, won the first season of the reality TV show for fashion designers ‘Project Runway’ in HCMC in June. Ha, from Daklak Province, graduated from HCMC University of Architecture.
