The three cruise ships are Costa Victoria of the cruise line Costa Crociere S.p.A from Europe, SuperStar Gemini from Asia and Voyager of the Seas of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines from the U.S.
Costa Victoria will first arrive at Tien Sa Port in Danang City so that tourists can visit destinations in the central region before sailing to HCMC.
Meanwhile, SuperStar Gemini will only dock at Halong in Quang Ninh Province and then head back to China’s Sanya. Voyager of the Seas will transport tourists to Phu My Port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province and tourists will be taken to Vung Tau City and HCMC.
According to Saigontourist, in the season of cruise tourism from late this year until next April, international cruise ships come to Vietnam quite regularly.
Currently, Saigontourist is selling tours combined with air and cruise ship transport. The China-Japan-South Korea tour lasting five days is priced at VND42.9 million and the Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand trip is priced at VND32 million.
